What to Expect

Your walking tour begins and ends at the historic Seal Beach Pier near the Centennial Clock. During the three hour tour, you will enjoy seven unique local restaurants including a gourmet sandwich shop, seafood house, olive producer, coffee roaster, confectioner, tea house, cheese purveyor, winery and more! While you stroll and eat, your local guide will provide inside information on the restaurant personalities, food trends, and local landmarks.  Seal Beach is among the top five friendliest towns in America according to Forbes Magazine, so you are certain to meet new friends! Following the tour, you won’t want to leave, so plan to spend your afternoon relaxing on the beach, strolling the pier or shopping on Main Street.  Get your ticket soon and enjoy the “Food of Paradise”!

Enjoy unique tastes from seven award winning restaurants while your local guide provides the story behind the food and the historic town.

Pierside Press Sandwich Shop

Chef Lily Chan delights the town with her gourmet sandwiches by the pier! Did you know her mentor is Cat Cora?

Walt's Wharf

Farm to table at its very best! Walter Babcock was the local dentist in the 1960's when he opened Walt's Wharf to serve fresh local fish from his own boat. He since added his private label award winning wines and grass fed beef!

McKenna's Tea Cottage

Rated among the top tea houses in Orange County, McKenna's unique tea blends are choc full of flavor. They serve amazing scones, potted cream and fresh raspberry jam to compliment your lunch faire.

O'Malley's on Main

O'Malley's Irish Pub has frequently been a film location, including the 2014 Clint Eastwood film, American Sniper. They serve up tasty pub grub and outstanding drinks on their charming outdoor patio.

Javatinis Espresso

Come here to experience "Simply Great Coffee". The coffee is freshly roasted each day, from the finest selection of coffee beans in the world. Your coffee is paired with the locally favorite confection, Seal Beach Toffee.

Temecula Olive Oil Company

Sourced locally in Southern California, the olive oils and vinegars will send your taste buds to the moon and back. I love the Basil Olive Oil with Pomegranate Balsamic or the Blood Orange Olive Oil with Apple Balsamic. Fresh and flavorful!

Seal Beach Winery

Did you know Seal Beach is making spectacular wines? Enjoy a tasting paired perfectly with cheeses from the Cheese Addiction.

Every taste was first class. We walked the whole town with an excellent guide. Great way to spend a day with friends. Stayed to shop awhile afterward. Don't miss a stroll on the pier to watch the sunset.
