Yes. To ensure you get the day, time, and number of tickets you need, please book well in advance. Tickets may only be purchased with a Visa, AMEX, or MasterCard from our website or by calling. Walk-up customers, the day of the tour, cannot be accepted.
We do not provide a waiting list. Please email us to let us know what date you are interested in if you do not see availability.
Please be sure and let us know when you purchase your ticket if you (or anyone in your group) has a dietary restriction (e.g. vegetarian, vegan, diabetic, allergies, etc.). As long as we know in advance, we will accommodate your needs.
Yes. Children 12 and under may purchase a child’s ticket. Due to space limitations, children other than infants require a ticket. Please indicate when ticketing if the child has special needs such as a high chair or booster seat. IDs will be checked by all restaurants as required by California law.
Gratuities are greatly appreciated by your tour guide, although not mandatory. The standard gratuity in the service industry is 15%-20%. The food servers’ tips at each eatery are already included in the ticket price.
Pets are always welcome in Seal Beach, however they are not allowed inside the restaurants.
Yes, bathrooms are available during the tour at selected food-tasting locations and public restrooms are available at the Seal Beach Pier.
All locations are wheelchair accessible. For guests that are hearing impaired, a written script of the narration will be available at the ticket office upon request.
Pay parking lots are available at the pier and throughout Old Town Seal Beach (map), prices vary by season and are higher than map indicates. Some lots use coin operated meters so please bring quarters. All day, free parking is available to the north on second, third, or fourth streets, along Central Ave. and at the Community Center on Marina Drive. Free parking is also available along Pacific Coast Highway south of Main Street. Two hour free parking is available on Main St. but we will need to move the car during the tour. In this case it is best to park on Main St. somewhere between Electric Ave. and Central Ave.
Absolutely not! The tour combines architectural commentary, historical facts, local culture and culinary insight into a unique 3-hour experience. Imagine walking through Seal Beach, eating delicious food created by local artisans while learning about the neighborhood from real locals.
There are multiple tastings that include wine or beer. In total, they add up to approximately 12-14 ounces of beer or wine during the Old Town Seal Beach Tour.
We absolutely do! We can accommodate a variety of special requests (family reunions, birthday parties, out of town guests, corporate meetings, conventions, festivals, parades, grand openings and more).
At this time, we do not offer tours in any other languages except English.
The tours are held rain or shine. In the event of inclement weather, please bring your jacket and umbrella. We will be inside at most of the establishments on the tour. We advise to check the weather conditions for your days event and dress appropriately.
You should bring a camera and a small bottle of water for very hot days. We always recommend an application of sunscreen and a lightweight pair of sunglasses. All of the restaurants require appropriate dress, including shirts and shoes (no swim suits). Please be respectful of other guests when choosing your clothes. It is a family friendly tour. During the cooler season it’s important to bring an extra layer of clothing.
